2. Dispatch Method

: The Certificate of Admission will be sent via email to the address provided on the application form, exclusively for successful applicants who have completed their tuition payment.


3. Important Notes

 Application for New Visas

1) Applicants must contact their local Republic of Korea Embassy or Consulate in advance to inquire about the required documents for a Student Visa (D-2). 

   Applicants are responsible for preparing all necessary documents individually, excluding the Certificate of Admission.

2) The processing time for visa issuance may vary depending on the local circumstances of each country. 

   Applicants must consult the relevant authorities in advance to ensure they can enter Korea before the start of the semester.

3) In accordance with the Ministry of Justice's "Guidelines for Visa Issuance and Residence Management for Foreign Students," 

   applicants who are expected to graduate must submit their final graduation certificate and academic credentials (apostille or consular authentication) to receive the Certificate of Admission. 

   These documents must be submitted by the tuition payment deadline.

   ※ The Office of International Cooperation shall not be held liable for any issues or delays in the visa issuance process resulting from the applicant's failure to submit the required documents, 

      despite official guidance from the person in charge.

   ※ Notice for E-visa Applicants (Graduate Admission): Applicants eligible for an e-visa must complete the 'Required Documents List for E-visa' [Attachment 2] and submit it prior to the tuition payment period.


 Change of Visa Status

: Applicants must visit the Office of International Affairs (OIA) Administration Office at Mokpo National University within one week of tuition payment to submit the following documents for a visa change.

1. Integrated Application Form

2. Copies of Passport and Alien Registration Card (ARC)

3. Application Fee: KRW 135,000(Only Cash)

4. One Passport Photo (Taken within the last 6 months)

5. Housing/Lease Agreement (If the agreement is under another person's name, a 'Confirmation of Residence/Accommodation' must also be provided)

6. Proof of Final Academic Credentials (Exempt if already submitted during the admission application process)

7. Certificate of Bank Balance
