  First-year Admission	International students (and parents) who are non-Korean citizens and have graduated (or are prospective graduates) from a high school.	Dual citizenship holders and stateless persons are ineligible.
  Transfer Admission	International students (and parents) who are non-Korean citizens and meet one of the following: Completed at least 2 years (4 semesters) of a 4-year degree program at an accredited university.(including industrial, open, or accredited cyber universities). Graduated from a junior college or recognized as having equivalent qualifications. Earned 80+ credits under the Academic Credit Bank System.	Dual citizenship holders and stateless persons are ineligible. (Applicants may apply regardless of their prior field of study.)

  • Korean Language Proficiency
    • Standard Requirement: Applicants must hold TOPIK Level 3 or higher (or Level 2 for Arts & Physical Education majors) or have completed Sejong Institute Beginner Level 2.
    • Special Conditions:
      • Conditional Admission (TOPIK Level 2): Admitted students with TOPIK Level 2 are mandated to complete a minimum of 300 hours of Korean language training at the MNU Language Center post-admission.
      • (Arts & Physical Education Majors): Applicants must hold TOPIK Level 2 or higher, or complete Sejong Institute Korean Beginner Level 2 or higher.
      • MNU Language Center Track: Students who have completed 4 terms at the MNU Korean Language Education Center and pass the Internal Proficiency Assessment are eligible to apply.
    • English Language Proficiency (English Track Only)
      • Applicants must provide valid scores from recognized tests: TOEFL (iBT 80), IELTS (5.5), TEPS (297), or TOEIC (700).
    • Validity: Only scores obtained within two years of the application deadline will be considered valid.
    • GKS & Foreign Government Scholars: Eligibility for Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) and foreign government-sponsored students will be reviewed through a separate process.

8	Family Relations	O	O	Must submit an original Family Relationship Certificate or Birth Certificate (with notarized translation) clearly stating the relationship, full names, and nationality of both the applicant and their parents. For Chinese Nationals: Submit a Notarized Kinship Certificate (亲属关系证明) or Household Register (户口簿). The document must include all family members (Applicant and both parents). All information on the documents must exactly match the information on the passport.

• Consular Authentication Requirement: It is mandatory for all notarized translations to be authenticated by either the Korean Embassy/Consulate in the applicant's home country or the applicant's national embassy/consulate located in the Republic of Korea.
• Applicant Responsibility: Applicants are solely responsible for thoroughly reviewing the Admission Guidelines for detailed specifications regarding required documentation before submission.
• Note on Disqualification: Failure to follow the prescribed instructions may lead to disqualification during the document screening process.
